BERKSHIRE BRIGADES to HOST DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS TRAINING SESSION for LOCAL CHAIRS, VICE CHAIRS

Berkshire Brigades to Host Democratic Caucus Training Session for Local Chairs, Vice Chairs

Local Dem Chairs should receive caucus materials from the Mass. Democratic party very soon (I got mine yesterday).  So, we just wanted to give you a heads-up and remind you that this year, in part because the Senate election is Jan. 19, the window to schedule your local caucus will be from Wed., Feb. 10 through Sun., Feb. 21.

As you know, 2010 is a gubernatorial election year, so the state convention will be big and very exciting, but only people elected at the caucus will be able to attend.

So, to help each of you with planning and running your caucus, Berkshire Brigades will host a Chairs training session at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, at the ITAM in Pittsfield. All Berkshire town city and ward chairs and vice chairs are invited, and there is NO charge.

Please RSVP by Jan. 15 to Lee@berkshirebrigades.org

Finally, some Berkshire towns either have no Democratic committees or current committees are moribund. If you live in such a town or know Dems in those towns who might be willing to set up a committee, please let me know. It only takes 3 Dems to set up a town committee!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Berkshire Brigades. If you are not a chair or vice chair, please forward this email to your local chair and vice chair.
